If you prefer to take your time and study the mechanics of the language, you can read the story line by line. Simply click the Volume Button next to any sentence to hear exactly how a native speaker pronounces it. This is excellent for intensive reading and pronunciation practice.
2. The Immersive "Play Story" Mode
If you want to train your listening skills, click the Play Story Button. This transforms your screen into a mini TV window that displays the German sentences playing in real-time, with the English translations neatly provided beneath them.

When using the Play Story mode, you are in complete control of the pacing. We have built-in several tools to make sure you never feel lost:
Speed Control: Adjust the audio speed to match your current listening comprehension level.
Instant Replay: Click on any specific line to repeat it as many times as you need.
Pause Button: Need more time to read the English meaning? Just hit pause and take your time.
Vocab Button: Whenever you encounter an unfamiliar word, click the Vocab button to instantly save the word and its meaning to your personal storage for easy review later.
